Welcome to our warehouse
Our distribution centres are responsible for efficient deliveries to our stores, seven days a week. Working in logistics in a growing company is physical and independent, and the work environment has a great team spirit and is driven by a sense of accomplishment. Our logistics experts work in a wide variety of positions in our warehouse and ensure, for their part, that our products run smoothly through our distribution centre and on to our stores.
Here is all the information you need before joining us at a Lidl warehouse, so you can hit the ground running from day one. This includes everything you can expect from your first day with us and what your training will look like.
Your first day
On your first day, your manager or one of your teammates will meet you when you arrive to the warehouse. During the day, you will meet your colleagues, get work clothes, and get to know the different storage areas, other facilities of the distribution center and learn some practical matters. Your training will also be kicked off.
Your training
Our warehouse training plan is designed for all new colleagues joining our warehouse. It is designed to give you all the knowledge and skills required to work safely and effectively in our warehouse. The training programme is a mixture of interactive eLearning content and guided practical sessions to put your learning into practice. You will be supported along the way by your trainer and manager to make sure you can perform at your best.
